Case Study #1: Small Commercial Properties
We were asked by the proprietor to visit these two small commercial neighbouring properties, with a view to submitting a competitive tender price to remove the damaged Asbestos Insulating Boards (AIB) from the ceiling of the paint store and the partition walls of the carpet warehouse.
The paint store was enclosed in polythene sheeting before the stock of paint tins were cleaned and decanted to a temporary store. The ceiling was then carefully removed, in line with the current regulations, and disposed of at a licenced waste site.
The store was environmentally cleaned before being handed over to the client for reoccupation. A similar procedure and set up arrangement was implemented to the partition walls at the carpet shop. The works in both premises were carried out on time, allowed both businesses to continue operating, and caused no disruption to staff or customers.
